We are delighted to unveil our new logo, designed by Scott Deans of Nicoll Deans Design. We worked closely with Scott to make sure we got a logo that reflects the environment that surrounds the guesthouse, as well as getting something that supports our commitment to high standards, great quality and excellent design, both internally and externally.
The logo was inspired by the trees that stand in the Lomond Castle Estate. The estate was chosen by Kew Gardens many years ago, part of an experiment to see how trees from all over the world would survive in the Scottish environment. There are many rare trees in the grounds, one reason it has taken so long to get planning approval! We had to have a tree survey carried out, and some of the rarer trees will need to be protected during the construction of the guesthouse and lodges.
One of the most impressive trees is the beautiful Horse Chestnut which stands very close to where the guesthouse will be. This tree has a massive canopy of huge leaves, and it is this leaf shape that inspired the final logo. We hope that the logo will become synonymous with the boutique style five star accommodation that we are committed to providing, but most of all we hope you like it!
